On the Way Home
Taken at FreezeOut lake in North Central Montana in early spring.
Playing for spare change
Greg Pattillo moved to New York and was unable to find work playing his flute, so he started playing in subway stations. After an hour he might earned a dollar or so. But then he tried something a little different, something he calls beatboxing the flute. People loved it and he made much more than before. He seems an accomplished musician. I guess people would rather listen to gimmicks than the real thing. Below he plays a bit of Flight of the Bumblebee. Story at NPR
