Ed Spencer

Joan made the comment that so often, when we find a notice of passing in our tubes we don't recognize the name, but we would recognize the face, were there a photograph. She went on to say that she thinks a photo of each of our departed friends and neighbors should be included on Coquina Daily. I couldn't agree more.

Living pictures

About a year and a half ago we featured some photos of groups of people arranged in patterns. These photos date to about 1915 to 1920. The camera was placed on a tower. In order to maintain perspective a vast number of participants was needed. If you look closely, you can see individuals in the foreground, but they are just tiny specks in the background.
