Preparing for Tropical Storm Fay
Tuesday evening, the National Hurricane Center issued a forecast stating Tropical Storm Fay was predicted to strengthen into a category one hurricane and would make landfall at St. Augustine. Wednesday, the residents of Coquina Crossing made their preparations.

If you have ever wondered if there is rain in the area, there is an excellent resource on the Internet that displays real-time radar data. The image is updated every six minutes and it is possible to play back the last couple hours to get an idea of which way the precipitation is moving. The chart is zoomable. The image above was from yesterday afternoon. It is zoomed in as close as it will go. At the center of the image is I-95 and S.R. 207. To go directly to a current chart follow this link. Once there, look for zoom-in and zoom-out links to make adjustments.
