World War Two camouflage
Above is a photograph of the Lockheed aircraft factory in California. During WWII there was concern about an aerial attack on the U.S. mainland by the Japanese. It was decided to hide high risk targets using camouflage. Below are photos of the camouflaged factory from the air and from under the camouflage.

A woman was terribly overweight, so her doctor put her on a diet.The doctor instructed, "I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for 2 weeks.
The next time I see you, you should have lost at least 5 pounds.
When the woman returned, she shocked the doctor by having lost nearly 40 POUNDS!
"Why, that's amazing!" the doctor said, "Did you follow my instructions?"
The woman nodded..."I'll tell you though, I thought I was going to
drop dead the 3rd day."
"From the hunger, you mean?", asked the doctor.
"No, from the skipping", the woman said.
