Ron sent these photos and suggested this might be a good way of slowing down traffic in the community - better than speed bumps. This was an advertising campaign created by an Indian advertising firm for Pioneer Suspension. There is some conjecture about whether it was actually placed on roads or created solely for print. link

Rita sent this series of photos attributed to Hans van de Vorst, which have been circulating in an email. The story would have you believe that this photographer has leapt onto a rock pillar risking a fall of thousands of feet. What you are not shown is that the fall is maybe fifteen at best. Such is the art of the illusionist. link

Pineapple flower
My pineapple continues to grow. As with all fruit, it is preceded by flowers. Each bump on the side of a mature pineapple was a flower bud. Each flower produces a berry, and as the berries grow they fuse together to form a pineapple. (compare previous photos)
