The Story Beyond The Still - Chapter 5: Miracle

The Story Beyond The Still is a contest sponsored by Canon and Vimeo in which contestants are asked to continue a story based on the last still image seen in a video. This is the fifth of five (so far - the next winner will not be announced for a few weeks - follow the story here). The story starts with a still image of a teddy bear lying in the rain at a cab-stand (Chapter 1). From the contest rules:

All film entries must begin with the still image concluding the previous winning chapter, which must then be recreated or reinterpreted to begin your film entry. All film entries must also end on a still image of your own.

The Reading of the Declaration of Independence

Twenty-two years ago, Morning Edition launched what has become an Independence Day tradition: hosts, reporters, newscasters and commentators reading the Declaration of Independence.

It was 234 years ago today that church bells rang out over Philadelphia, as the Continental Congress adopted Thomas Jefferson's draft of the Declaration of Independence. NPR

With great sorrow, I read your message on today's edition of the Coquina Daily. Through the time that you were at the helm, I thanked you for your diligence and ingenuity. Our community will miss this service tremendously. You have done a very good job, provided a great opportunity for residents like me each morning to see what's happening at CCX.
